Oh my, never thought of a physical resemblance (shudders).  My family 
always watched Rowan & Martin's Laugh-in on TV, and the humor was 
definately wacky and over the top.  I won't annoy anyone with my 
conservative father's opinion of Tiny Tim.  Since I've grown up, I've 
been under the impression that anytime Tiny Tim and  "Tip Toe" are 
refered to, its an allusion to something being amazingly incongruous 
and ridiculus in a 'poor fellow's lot it' sort of way.
