Thanks for the response Carol!  I already wrote more about the 
Basilisk/Chamber post so I won't say anymore here.  I would agree 
with you that Snape would find their predicament way too reminiscent 
of his own experiences.  If he was at the QWC, however, he could have 
been spending a little too much time with the Fire Whiskey and his DE 
friends and joined in the crowd when they went on their exploits out 
of a twisted sense of loyalty to them.  

"Something Wicked This Way Comes" carries a similar penalty...I was 
stuck on that one last week! :)
