I have no clue if someone has ever posted something similar, but one
way for LV to die would be by Harry possessing him, and doing the job
from the inside out (reverse of book 5). The dueling wands won't
work, and JKR laid the foundations for this to happen in OotP when
she showed its possibility. Harry can kill LV by making him feel all
the hurt he's caused...by filling him with love and regret and all
the emotions he seems to lack. I see two possible results if this
were to occur. One is that Harry will be sacrificing himself, and as
a result, die. But maybe what Harry has in such abundance
(love/heart) is greater than LV's powers and so he willl emerge
unharmed, and give a truly happy ending to the series. In the end,
Harry's defining characteristics will have to be what triumphs over
LV: this has been hinted at in book 2 (the love in his veins from his
mother proved deadly then) and in book five when LV couldn't bear to
be in Harry's body bc of theses feelings. Those feelings saved
Harry's life that night. Dumbledore also alluded to the tremendous
power of heart/love in his talk with Harry in book 5. I think these
clues cannot be overlooked. Remember, these have turned into moral
tales. However, it remains to be seen if my theory is the way the
love conquers over malice, spite and evil
