I believe has been discussed. While it is an interesting idea, and
would certainly result in increased animosity between the
Gryffindors and Slytherins, and between Harry and Snape in
particular, I don't think it can happen because Harry doesn't have
the time to both teach and attend a full schedule of classes. Of
course some might argue that the situation could be easily remedied
through the use of a time turner, but there wouldn't really be any
reason for them to go that route (other than for the amusement of
hearing "Potter fell asleep teaching class again" throughout the
book). I think it is more likely that JKR will stick to the pattern
of introducing a new character for the DADA teacher at least for
book 6.
