Witch Writer now:
I have been following all the mails on this topic and it has been
very intriguing to me, indeed. I would like to address it in two
part, first focusing on the main content of this topis: Lupin's
resentment towards Harry and secondly Snapes issues.

Firstly: I really like Lupin and I think he a very strong
character. He is understanding and smart, surely knows the tricks of
the trade and is emotionally and physically very depressed due to his
condition. He feels eliminated and alienated, but does not stop with
feeling only those. He is a good judge and highly respects DD. He
feels guilty for feeling or rather, accusing Sirius to be the spy. He
loves Harry very much and is very protective(but knows where to draw
a line). Sirius in the other hand does miss James and see Harry as
James more than a teenage Harry.
Lupin does not resent Harry at all. He merely is stern and
authoratative and does not loose his sight and mind like Sirius. He
addresses the problem and calmly handles the issues. He does suggest
that he would rather talk to Snape, because Snape would only mock at
Sirius and also Sirius was involved in disgracing Snape in the school
ground. Lupin, did not participate(neither did he stop it). Lupin
thus my opinion is not atall resentful towards Harry.

Secondly: Snape Attitude.
I have many things against Snape. I am sorry and apologize in
hurting the Snape fans, but I assure you I really like his character
as well. But that definitley does not stop me from having issues with
his attitude.
I, for many times, feel that Snape is a bit immature. His
resentment towards James and Sirius, he blatanly shows to Harry. From
the minute Harry steps into his first class, he sarcastically pinches
Harry on his fame(which Harry just has come to know and is not very
comfortable with). He, as was not able to get it out with the father
and godfather, gets his anger and hatred on Harry (Harry is younger
and his student, and more vulnerable). I wouldnt suggest that as some
thing mature? A certain rudeness and loathing towards all Griffindors
( not so much with any other house) and excessive punishments to
them.
Lastly, stopping the occlumency lessons. I would not categorize
that anywhere adult and mature. He again, was taking his rage at
Harry, for no fault of his. Snape, I feel, is sometimes selfish and
most times insecure. His respect(or now I do wonder fear) for DD
keeps him in the righteous track and thus in the Order.
