I have also previously been a fan of this theory (either Ron or other
Weasley being Dumbledore), but I couldn't make myself believe it in
the face of glaring issues. In order for this theory to be possible,
Dumbledore would have the knowledge that Ron and/or Twins have by the
end of the Harry Potter series. However:
- Dumbledore doesn't know about the Marauder's Map
- Dumbledore doesn't know that Sirius/Peter/James are animagus
- Dumbeldore doesn't know that Sirius is innocent
- Dumbledore doesn't know that Peter is alive
- Dumbeldore doesn't know that Moody is Crouch Jr.
Unless there's some major reason we don't yet know about that makes
Dumbledore want to ignore what he knows, I'm not sure I can believe
the theory.
