Well, she didn't fix Harry's glasses in the books.
That only happens in the movies.

Here is what Hermione has to say about herself and her
family in book 1:

"Are you sure that's a real spell?" said the girl. "Well,
it's not very good, is it? I've tried a few simple spells just
for practice and it's all worked for me. Nobody in my family's
magic at all, it was ever such a surprise when I got my letter,
but I was ever so pleased, of course, I mean, it's the very best
school of witchcraft there is, I've heard -- I've learned all our
course books by heart, of course, I just hope it will be enough --
I'm Hermione Granger, by the way, who are you.

So, according to Hermione, nobody in her family is magically
inclined at all, and it was a big surprise, when she
received her letter.

I think, Hermione is blessed with a thirst for knowledge,
and a photographic memory, so she would have learned and
retained a lot just by reading through all her course books.

I've always wondered why Hermione was scared of using LV's
name at all, since she didn't grow up with everyone around
her avoiding the name, and acting scared.

And I find her way of calling Ron on it, after just having
started using LV's name herself, less than likable.
It's almost like making yourself sound braver by calling
attention to somebody else's fear.
