JKR's "small thing" in CoS

I don't think that information came from the World day Chat. I've 
seen that particular comment referenced several times, but haven't 
actually seen an interview transcript to verify it. If I'm wrong, 
please correct me and send me a link! 

I've thought a lot about what could 'give it all away' on the 
outside chance JKR said that. I think it must be the link between 
Riddle and Ginny, how as TR grows stronger, Ginny grows weaker and 
vice-versa. This foreshadows the link between LV and Harry, which we 
find out in OOTP is getting stronger. Also in OOTP, we find out more 
information about the scar as the connection point between the 
two, "in essence divided". This isn't a small thing, of course, but 
when I heard the of the rumored quote the first time, it was only 
that JKR mentioned she "gave too much away" in COS. 

Jen R., continuing the rumor because it's just too intriguing to 
pass up.
