In CoS, when Harry and Riddle are discussing Riddle's past as a
student and framing of Hagrid, Riddle starts going on about how he
was so brilliant, a model student, and so BRAVE... Brave was
stressed, it was in italics.

I am wondering what Riddle had done to be thought so brave, and why
this does not immeadiatley jump out at us as a parallel of Harry. In
fact there are many many parallels drawn between the two in this
chapter and throughout the books.

While on the topic, I would like to drop this little pebble in the
pool - what if Dumbledore was once as close to Tom as he now is to
Harry? He speaks of him, and to him, in the same familiar manner with
which he speaks to Harry, and seems to know all about his history and
brilliance. And hey, you know the Ron=DD theory? What if Harry=Voldy?
Neither can live while the other survives... does that mean they
might be the same? In essence divided?

lol a little far fetched (in fact more than a little) but fun to
theorize about.

Bonny
