Another quick correction before someone comments on this message.
Sirius, as another poster pointed, already knew the Secret. I think he
was present when Peter was made Secret Keeper and if he "forgot" when
the charm was cast, was quickly told again by Peter, who wanted to
avoid suspicion. Lupin, OTOH, probably wasn't told either before or
after the charm was placed, which is why (unless the conspiracy
theorists are correct), he didn't show up. Eitherthat or my alternate
reasons still apply. C.
