Gina: I thought he was talking to the ceiling because the penseive is a bowl
and anyone in it would seem to be looking up at the ceiling. Your point was
good if that is the case, but I think it just appeared to Harry that Snape
was talking to the ceiling because Harry was looking down into the penseive.
