This is so interesting.

But what does it do to the "It's our choices that make us what we are, 
Harry" (sorry to paraphrase) very pointed lecture Dumbledore gave.

If "everyone" is possessed by someone else, then they/we really don't 
have free will.  I think JKR is telling us that our lives are for us to 
live fully and in service to others so if you're possessed, you're not 
responsible for your actions.  Would she say that?
