 Another reason that strikes me is that all those who made it were 
aurors in exception of Lupin and Sirius who would never forego a 
chance to fight or leave Harry. It is simply that Arthur and Molly 
though good wizards in their own way were not trained to fight dark 
wizards and may not be able to cope up with the demand. Nor is Bill, 
I am sure.
