I find it interesting that Severus and Lucius are named after the 
same person: Lucius Septimius Severus, a Roman Emperor who died in 
York.
Here's an interesting quote about him:

 He ruled with vigor and, when he found it useful, a calculated 
cruelty. Caracalla succeeded him.
