I just read that part. It's in Chapter 37, p 833 "Snape stopped
giving me Occlumency lessons!" Harry snarled. "He threw me out of
his office!"
"I am aware of it," said DD heavily.
Then DD goes on to say some wounds run too deep...So it seems that
DD may feel he let Snape down on this one too. It could have been
that after throwing Harry out, and calming down, Snape discussed it
with DD and they decided to stop the lessons. What I don't
understand, is why they wouldn't have told Harry. On the other
hand, he might not have told DD until much later.
