Sorry.  Don't agree.  Perhaps a poll is in order?  I don't know that 
most use "LV"--I've seen a LOT of Voldy/Voldie and other variations 
(Lord Thingy for one).  VOLDEMORT takes more effort to write out than 
Voldy; that's the ONLY reason I use it.  I didn't attribute any 
significance to the name when I chose to use it; I didn't select it 
because it's cute or softened his image; I just liked the shortcut.  
Now, you're right that LV is even shorter, and I may switch to that! 
But it won't be because JKR said Voldie must stop.  I *really* think 
that was a bit of a joke on her part.
