I think Rowling was just teasing. I've even seen some people argue 
that she was being serious in her response to the question about 
Lily being a death eater. I really, really don't think so. I think 
some people are already upset with her about things that have 
happened in the books, or about where they think she's headed with 
the books, and it's causing them to read a negative tone into 
everything she says.
