Why does Neville have to have someone, he has his mimbulous mimbletonia. 
  He'll work with Prof. Sprout, he'll eventually take over herbology, 
meeting a nice witch with dragon dung under her fingernails and they 
will live happily ever after slapping Teething Tentaculas to keep them 
in place.

All the arguing between Hermione & Ron is sexual tension with nowhere to 
go.  Even Harry recognizes that.  It's classic.  Watch daytime TV for a 
week and you'll see it played 20 times.

for JKR but who knows?
