Absolutely. And as someone who has worked around teens from 13 on up, while the idea 
that they are awash in hormones may make us adults sqee-ish, it is what it is. 

There have been studies--beginning around the US drinking age, we start to forget/deny 
the urges that buffeted us in are teens. I'm not sure why this is, but it's fairly universal.
