I haven't read all of the posts in this thread because there are just so
darn many of them - but I'm confused by the amount of venom being thrown at
Severus by Sirius lovers and vice versa.

Surely I'm not the only person here who is capable of considering them
*both* as being far from 'perfect' (but no-one's perfect and they both seem
to have a heap load of good reasons for why they act the way they do,
without trying to excuse the way they act because they're both capable of
being quite spiteful and *incredibly* childish at times) and *still* adores
them both absolutely (to the point where I refuse to get too deeply involved
in this thread because it's doing dangerous things to my blood pressure and
my ability to be polite to people).

And pretty much the same thing goes for Remus too - although minus the bit
about him being spiteful since his faults lie in other areas.

No, none of them are perfect. Yes, all of them periodically exhibit some
very bad characteristics. But this doesn't stop any of them from being
utterly lovable (in my opinion).
