If you really step back and look at them without favoring one over 
the other, you see that they are a lot alike, in looks and 
behavior.  And someone pointed out neither can look at Harry without 
seeing James.  (Oh oh, sounds like a prophecy..neither can look at 
the one without seeing the other...)

I have lots of fun defending Snape, because let's face it, he's a 
pretty terrible person!
