Carol responds:
I know you think that Snape should not have stopped giving Harry
occlumency lessons. But even if you're right (and I've already
expressed my views on that subject), surely that mistake was
compensated for by Snape's actions later in the book. It was Snape who
alerted both the Order and Dumbledore that Harry was in danger. If it
weren't for Snape, Harry and his friends would almost certainly be dead.
