Mandy here,
Not such a wild idea.  I was happily enjoying thoughts of Sirius 
funeral and the delightfully wicked reunion of at least two of the 
Sisters Black but then I realized that there is absolutely no way 
Sirius can have a funeral of any kind.  

Sirius Black's death can not be acknowledged without the severe 
embarrassment of the MOM.  And conveniently for the Ministry there 
isn't even a body to hide.  The ministry simply can not admit to the 
fact that an escaped convict, on the run, got access to the MoM 
building, fought a fight inside it with LV himself and was killed in 
the Ministry's own basement by another escaped convict.  The whole 
saga will be buried before you can say whitewash. 

Ah well. It was a nice idea though.
