Yes. It can be there or not be there. Or it can be
there, and someone can ignore it.
I think that TR and HP are universally different
because of who they are, what they have,
and what they choose.
There are other characters in the books that have
different types of moral compasses,
warped moral compasses, and ignore or obey them to
different degrees.
