I think I'm right that Dobby mentions Filch using the room to replenish his
cleaning supplies if he ran out unexpectedly. Therefore it must be able to
create things that can be taken outside and still exist.
There's no canon support as to whether Argus uses magical cleaning materials
(Mrs Skower's for example) but it's probably because why would there be any
other sort in the WW?
So in that small respect the RoR must be able to generate magical "stuff".
I'd like to think, also, that Dumbledore, having utilised one of the chamber
pots, would have taken it to the nearest toilet to empty it without it, um,
dissolving as he walked down the corridor...
