Let's say Snape had kids (why, who knows!), maybe his "wife" found 
out he was supporting Voldy and doing his bidding.  Maybe she and the 
kid(s) left Snape.  Maybe that's what caused him to go from serving 
Voldy to serving the Order.  And here is another possiblity, maybe 
Snape and Harry are related??? Could explain why Snape loathes Harry 
so much.  Well, other than the fact that James and Sirius made his 
life miserable at Hogwarts.  This could be another piece of the 
puzzle.  Snape always seems to be there somewhere when Harry is in 
trouble.
