I forgot to reply to this... Yes, she does say she loves Rita 
Skeeter, but her list of favourites never includes Rita, whereas it 
includes Lupin twice (in the Edinburgh interview and in the FAQ 
section of her website), together with the Trio, Dumbledore, Hagrid, 
Luna Lovegood and maybe Ginny, Fred&George, but I'm not sure about 
them. It seems he's in good company, to say the least.
