I agree with Potioncat, what fun would it be to live
in the only entirely wizard town in the UK if you
can't even apparate? I think people go there because
they can do magic at will. If you can't do magic in a
magic town, what's the point? Sure you can't apparate
in Hogwarts and its grounds, but you sure must be able
to apparate at Hogsmeade, I know I have no canon to
back it up, but how else could you get there? Yeah, I
know there's the Floo Network, Brooms, Port-Keys, and
the train, but Apparition just seemes so much fun.
