Oh, yes, certainly. And JKR has, in her twisty tactful way, debunked
*some* ships, so there's precedent that she could. I just meant that
"silent admission" (that's what I was calling equilibrium - we don't ask,
she doesn't tell) is the best we can hope for. Which is good enough for
me. Fanfic is often better than canon anyway. :)
