Del replies :
Not all of them, but some of them. Why would they all want to switch
to the WW ? Is the WW so *objectively* better than the Muggle World ?
Or are they just made to *believe* that ?
I can understand that the more talented Muggleborns would be happy to
finally discover why weird stuff keeps happening to them, and to have
an opportunity to actually make a life out of their special talent.
But I can imagine that many Muggleborns would also consider their
magical ability as only one part of their personality, and wouldn't
see the necessity to mold their entire life around that one trait.
Except that at Hogwarts they are taught that being magical makes them
superior to Muggles. "Being a wizard is superior to being Muggle" :
don't you see how this can *easily* lead to "being wizard-born is
superior to being Muggle-born" ?
The pureblood ideology is only a CONSEQUENCE of the full-blown racism
against non-magical and non-human people that pollutes the entire WW.
