Nope, not for that. For the possibility of having your unique gift
developed, even if it means that you will endure a lot of hardships
in this new world.
I can very easily find the real life reflection of such situation -
immigration.
Myself and my family had been through a lot (just as all immigrants,
we are definitely not unique in that) when we came to America, but I
am not exaggerating, when I am saying that every moment of suffering
had been worth it.
I had very little possibilities of developing my gifts and abilities
in my country.
Just as muggleborns have no possibilites of developing their gift of
magic in "our" world.
