Good thought about the particular owl having a charm allowing it to find LV;
that hadn't occurred to me at all.

On Lucius, though, I must be missing something.  Why do you say he did not
know then that LV was back?  He said as much in the graveyard scene with LV
in GoF, but it sounded like BS to me, to keep from being punished.  I know,
"you can't lie to LV," but we don't know if Lucius is a good Occlumens,
either.
