Pippin:

Sorry, "we" referred to Olivier and myself -- I didn't mean to imply 
that the opinion was canon or universal.

The phrase "as if he had read Harry's mind" follows Lupin 
around like a puppy. In PoA Lupin has an "odd, closed" 
expression (ch 14).  That is too similar to "occlumency"  to be 
anything but a hint -- IMO.
