Actually, JKR saying here "he will have SEEN" doesn't imply at all 
that our dear Severus hasn't DONE anything. The reason JKR 
said "seen" was that she was answering the question "can Snape see 
thestrals?" IWO she was referring to the question if he has SEEN 
death.

I'm not sure at all what she would have answered if asked "what kind 
of things has Snape DONE when he was a DE?" but as Nora wrote, the 
Regulus case may be some indication.
