I oft wondered if there weren't *any* Harry-generation students on the
map, because the marauders "programmed" the map to recognize the students
they went to school with. The map hadn't been "updated" in years (I doubt
F&G knew how to do that), so it only showed the teachers -- or students,
like Snape -- who had been at the school 20 years ago.

Is there any canon mention of Harry watching one of his peers on the map?
