I love that. Unfortunately, NO ONE was thinking rationally in the 
Shreiking Shack, IMO, absolutely no one. Emotions were at all time 
high (that is why I love this scene so much) and of course Harry did 
not have time to think about best approach to Snape.

 
I love Harry for insisting to bring Pettigrew to justice, but I tend 
to side with Dzeytoun - so many problems could have been avoided if 
he was killed right away.
