JKR is aware of the role model status she and Harry has. Suicide or 
drugs that can make a person into a vegetable would only be an option 
if she would wish it on fans all around the world. 

No, for Harry to be killed of from anyone but a Death Eater, it would 
have to be something like eating some of Hagrid's cooking.
