Carol responds:
Just one small quibble. I don't think that "Harry is the one who dies"
is a possible ending. He could die *along with* Voldemort, but
Voldemort is almost certainly going to die no matter what. The saga
can't end any other way. There can be no after-the-war epilogue unless
Voldemort dies. And besides, we Muggles know that there was no WW
takeover of the world in 1997, when the final battle will take place.

Voldemort has already been destroyed--although, for him, being no
longer fully human, maybe there will be no "next great adventure,"
only eternal emptiness and nothingness like that faced by those whose
souls have been sucked by Dementors.
