The obvious reason is that she didn't want Harry flying in her face
once again.
A more puzzling reason might be that she couldn't think of a better
idea, like going to 12GP or to the Burrow, or anywhere where they
could find a member of the Order. I know that they had already warned
Snape, but I must admit I was very surprised that Hermione didn't
suggest going somewhere they could get strong (adult) reinforcement.
