AmanitaMuscaria now -
One thing that occurred to me was the coincidence of the severed
troll's leg, and the severed house-elves' heads - maybe there's some
use that the Ancient House of Black made of trolls?
The other thing is, why have an umbrella stand there at all? what's
it supposed to hold? Broomsticks? I can't see the sort of people
who'd turn up to visit the Black household arriving disguised as
muggles with umbrellas in hand, and there was no mention of anyone
placing their broomsticks in the stand when Harry arrived there? If
that was its intended use, I would imagine Molly would make sure they
used it as such.
Cheers. AmanitaMuscaria
