Very true, Steve. It's the same reason he's a good headmaster -
usually. He knows that there are some rules than can safely be
broken by students (sneaking down to the kitchens for cakes at
midnight) and some that have far more serious consequences (flying an
enchanted car to the school when you miss the train). He doesn't
sweat the small stuff.
