Thanks for the laugh - imaging Snape in Lime Green robes is just too 
much!  If he did not have a set before the game, he certainly does 
now.  

I think the grim smile was because he was hoping that the score would 
never get to the necessary 60 point spread in Griffindor's favor.  
Plus I am sure he gave a few nasty pointers on how to make the 
Griffindor's pay for every point they scored.  Remember the game got 
nasty - IMO Snape was smiling in anticipation of the brutality of the 
game the Slytherins were going to play.  

After all, much as I like to analyze Snape, he is a nasty piece of 
work.  As close to evil as a person on the good side can get.
