SSSusan:
I think the point is being missed a bit.  In my take on reading 
Kneasy's & Nora's posts, they were talking more about capital-B-
Beauty, not simply people who are described as pretty or beautiful.  

Finding Beauty in works of art or music, seeing Beauty in the form 
or function of the architectural structure of a building, being 
moved by the Beauty of nature or by the Beauty of the word in a well-
crafted poem.  It's *these* kinds of references to beauty that are 
apparently lacking within the Hogwarts curriculum and to which I 
believe Kneasy referred.
