I've often wondered about this. However how would students trained in
WW schools provide school transfer records that muggle colleges and 
universities would accept? Unless some of the older institutions (I 
could see this as true with Oxford and Cambridge) actually have secret 
offices specifically for handling the cases of students entering from 
Hogwarts.
