Yes, I read and try to debate the theories that make me 
uncomfortable for the same reason you are, I suppose.

But, honestly, even though many of them are very intriguing, I 
am "scared" so to speak of only few of them. (Waves to Pippin. :o))
I find many theories, no matter how well argued they are, to be 
overcomplicated for the series and therefore unlikely to come true.
Yes, yes, I know JKR stated that she writes the books for 
themselves, not for the children, but quite honestly I think that 
books are clearly oriented towards the younger audience.

Of course, ther is always a huge possibility for me to be proven 
wrong.
