But once it was made an illegal group she could have easily gone and
told them she wanted to back out (she would have had a perfectly good
reason) or she could have asked Cho to do it. Just by signing she
wasn't bound to HAVE to continue with it! She didn't! All the books
are about choices Marrietta made hers and set off a bad chain of
events because of it. I agree that she couldn't have really known
what would happen but that doesn't excuse her actions. Plus do you
really think after the events of OOTP Harry is really going to even
give her a second thought after what happened at the MOM.
