But how do you know that Harry doesn't think about them? The books do
not record every minute of Harry's day nor every thought he has. It
is quite possible that when it crosses his mind he doesn't
necessraily make a remark or it may be while he is on his own tinking
quietly.
I suddenly remembered when I read this post that in November, it will
be 10 years since my father died. But I'm not going to jump up and
phone people or say to everyone I meet today "I've just remembered
that I'm coming up to the 10th anniversary of my father's death."
It's something I think about quietly from time to time, often when
I'm on my own.
