Pettigrew in Hagrid's hut - an answer

I meant Pettigrew *does* show up on the map, but Lupin wasn't looking in
Hagrid's hut.
The reason I have so much trouble believing the map doesn't show inside the
hut is my assumption of how the map was made. I don't believe they 'draw'
it. That piece of parchment was enchanted to show the Hogwarts area; why
wouldn't it show the hut?

Lupin was searching for Black - it was not to expect that he would be found
having tea with Hagrid. He saw the 'second' Harry and run to DD. Note:

"It was a map showing *every* detail of Hogwarts castle and grounds. But the
truly remarkable thing were the *tiny* ink dots moving around it, each
