Karen L.,
My opinion of the entire "sacrifice" thing, was that it was
definately an unplanned, maternal instinct of protecting one's
child. How could DD and Lily have preplanned the sacrifice?
They did not Know that LV was on his way. The prophecy was
known, but they did not know that it was about Harry, it could
have been about Neville. Harry's name was added to the
prophecy After LV's attack on the Potter's! And After the attack
DD used a charm to
*seal* the protection that Harry received through his mother's
sacrifice of herself. But the one thing that does bother me that
was touched on was about James' sacrifice of himself. Did his
sacrifice of himself for his family increase the protection that
Harry received? In other words did HP receive double
protection because both his parents died trying to protect him?
Just one of my many random thoughts. Any ideas, responses?
Karen
