Ahhh and you may be right about that, considering that Tom was an 
orphan he probably had a borrowed wand as a schoolboy. 
He likely used the wealth from his fathers (that he killed in little 
Hangleton) estate to make himself over after he renamed himself. It 
makes a lot of sense Kneasy I agree.
